 | About Us In the late 1980s, a group of Richmond businessmen purchased a parcel of timber land in Powhatan County without a clear vision for its development. Around the same time, a group of golfers were interested in establishing a true golf club in the Greater Richmond area. They acquired the estate developed by Julien Binford on Fine Creek, which became the focal point of the new golf club. After acquiring the missing section of land adjacent to the original timber parcel, the Foundry Golf Club was established with a pure golf experience and an old Virginian touch. Learn More |
